Today we are talking about how to ghost hunt and how to use Electronic Voice Phenomenon or EVP.

The giant voice phenomenon is the practice of ghost hunters of tried to actual record the voices of ghosts and spirits. If there are some furious of one furious they are able to manipulate the molecules in the air to create five frictions that record to the microphone the other furious that select to magnetic, somehow they elect the info magnetic filaments that aside all microphones directly. One thing we didn’t know is a Phenomenon that happen acts to microphone that it record itself. Is all we encourage people to use whatever possible external microphones. Especially whether use their tape recorder that is taking and reset recorder has tears and you know other devices inside of it they could be heard directly on to the tape if you use it to turn a microphone. This is also something to happened with micro set recorders. Now the micro set recorder we set the same level of audio good quality but with power package. But make sure you purchase one it has this microphone jack for your external microphone. Now lately, most people have start switch to using digital recorders that trying to record EVP. This digital recorder is very heavy; it is very convenient as well. It plugs directly into a laptop or desktop computer for purpose of listening to your audio and further use of software. It has a USB port which allows you to plug it right here to desktop or laptop directly in all fly and all you have to do is attach it to any cable.

Now conducting and EVP session we use this called S technique which was developed by organization of few years ago. It stands for alone, it supervised questions and answers. In the first place of it, we literally record by itself we leave the property sometimes go something to eat and go back to see if we got anything on the tape or digital for that. During the second phase is stand by phase if the box recorder was see the low red light placed on it, it means it dedicate records that a voice or sound is big recorded. During the session, we also see everything is happen in the room or the property were us we getting. Wow, let’s try and record the EVP.

The file sessions of all questions and the answers which we actually ask questions in the environment near the recorder, let’s hear responses from the ghost. Questions, you tend of all things that related by dead the way, some ghost things, and some ghost investigators them dead. Ghost did not necessary know that they’re dead; they exist, where they lived, where they are not aware the fact that they’re you have the sees or move on to different form. In these cases, we try to ask questions that are pretending ghost dead. You’re going to ask question like; how do you die? Didn’t hear when you are stand to the back. So stick the question like; Are you married? How old are you? What is your favorite news paper? To bother ghost you can also ask questions like; what is your favorite TV Show? Make sure that you leave tease enough gaps between each question to allow for the answers to be recorded. Perhaps, if you body capture twenty, you ask a question what year is it. Wait 20sec yourself, and then ask another question, if you have a group of individual with SQD questions, have them raise your hand before you ask questions, so that they don’t talk to each other the same time.

Well as a basic of trying to record Electronic Voice Phenomenon, coming up next we are talking about how to use video.

Hi, I’m Jason Solomon with my always cameraman Jacob of a ghost hunter. And this is ghost hunting 101 what are going to talk about today is ghost hunting equipment what paranormal investigation’s use in the field to help them along and doing the research and there investigations and hunting down ghost. Okay, we’re gonna start the easiest stuff possible things that anyone could acquire. I’m not gonna terming imaging cameras and things like that’s completely unnecessary no ones gonna spend 5 – 10 thousand dollars and 1 piece of equipment. So what I’m gonna do is to show you some equipment that you can get relatively cheap and sometimes even free if you know where to look okay. Where’s gonna start with the easiest stuff and probably the most important is number one. This is what I think every ghost hunters should have. This is a simple camera okay this ones happens to be a digital camera by Sony we use. We put 2 gig memory sticks and we can take about 1500 pictures and an investigation were the most important thing is this, never this stop taking photographs taking this as many as possible over and over, over and over and don’t even stop. Every time you turn on in a camera you wanna be taking photographs okay? My suggestion usually is get one person in your group whose job is entire time is the photograph the group. One thing that I cannot leave without in investigation is my video camera. A video camera is one of the most sensual elements in paranormal investigations. What I mean in this is, if you want to tell your story and as investigations we all have a particular story that we are very much attach to because its kind of cast into doing this but when you tell that story, when you have an video oh it could really make a difference. You know my story was my first investigations that I didn’t check to a ghost hunting house. Is all video tape my experience was phenomenal we capture all in video and it was freaking for me yeah because it’s my first time dealing with the paranormal and it was awesome but we capture on looking on a video tape. Bringing a video camera, and actual batteries if you can, get larger batteries okay? You will get it on batteries.com and get batteries that last up to 8 hours okay? And there’s a lot of video of 2 hours battery to get stand on a video camera. We use high digital, we use digital and we also use HD and CCD. So the type of camera you use it doesn’t make a difference I don’t think so. I think the idea is that you keep the cameras rolling in all times. If a chair is sliding across the for all by itself it really doesn’t matter of what type of video camera you have, just as long as you have that camera on and recording. And once again it’s a good idea that they have members of your crew. I use two cameramen at all time but have members of your crew better dedicate it like check of the ghost hunter and my camera man clerk. They dedicated to just video tape in the investigation. There is much a part of it as I am but it’s important to have his cameras rolling the entire time where there. Even when you’re in down time and you’re sitting around talking make sure the camera’s rolling okay? It’s very important you never know when something’s gonna take place.

Another important to piece of equipment to keeping your bags are EMF meters. I have two types of EMF meters they both do the exact same thing, one is not better than the other. I have this one here which is the first one actually have a purchase and I got bought it for $29. And the second one I bought like a 10 box more but I also use the one and have an eliminated talk now like that so I bought it. Okay? Now EMF meter what it stand is “Electro Magnetic Fields”, in ghost hunting in Paranormal Investigations? What the theory is this is very seems to be, this theory is supported a ghost supernatural activity, paranormal activity seem to con drop quite a bit of Electro Magnetic Fields. Probably seem that wrong but what I mean is you can be in house that has actual you know power of feel of cemetery something that’s completely away from power lines or power structures anything that gives of power by the sounds power and so forth okay? And what you’ll find is, your batteries in your camera equipment will drain and your feel yourself nothing or tired and there’s a lot of activity going around and the EMF meters goes off. Now there are no Electro Magnetic Fields that are just floating around randomly and that’s they are come in. A ghost will concentrate its energy to become active creating a small but registered Electro Magnetic Field. And that’s what EMF meter can really come in and the very important to keeping your bag very very easy to use okay?

Flashlights are very important, we all know that. There’s none of use who never have a flashlight on hand. Whether be a maglight, okay? Maglights are great because they have a goody light. And you know a lot of investigations during night have been on the North West College in there recently have maglights in there because when you’re in trouble you know, you got some protector and maglights are pretty heavy and you know pull that graves rubbers and people that do things that I don’t like. You know like just quick grounds that’s the maglight advantage. I suggested it same and it’s not wrong. But the best way is like to use and I found this out over the past couple of years because they have really been available for us. LED flashlights and the flashlights high intensity discharge lens, this things are awesome. They give you the best light possible when you are in ghost hunting and what I need them is they give often a flow of light you know you can see it is very very easy to use look at this smaller but they give enough lights that you get in maglight. But here’s the difference, this flashlights don’t leave a white dot there’s no white docks. Just you know, open the distance to eliminated field. A very good flashlight to use we are about 20 years and it’s awesome. This are I replace everything we had with this flashlights they’re fantastic. They are not expensive this flashlight here they gave an idea this is a six LED flashlight and I think I pay 10box worth.

Another piece of ghost hunting equipment that is really important to have is something that can tell you the temperature inside of the room. Whether you are not using a stand along digital parameter or you have this Thermal meter. What it does is to tell you instantly the surface temperature very thing that you pointed at. It operates like it is a gun it is very cheap and this is something that you can keep. I think I bought this like $40. Okay, it has laser pointer on it that way you can; you know exactly what you’re pointing at. It also got a nice LED screen you can see at night. What I like to do for you is just allow to do a sweep of an area and it will give you a temperature everything that comes you across. And why it is important is this, if you’re doing a sweep of the area trying to find any a normal is, okay and your EMF meters are going off you’re looking for temperature now it happens between 10 – 15, 20deg or even greater but if you’re looking for where there constant that will point you on a right direction for finding a ghost that concentrated an energy enough field you will find greater in most areas where the temperature completely off from the rest of the room, specially when a room, a constant room no wind, no outside, air like bright sunlight or so forth. And you have a room let say, 70deg and all of a sudden all in a corner you’re getting a 55deg temperature. Why? Go over and investigate it okay? That what you need to do formal energy equipment I bought it up before very nice to have but again, the average ghost hunter for the average paranormal investigation a piece of 5 thousand dollar equipment doesn’t make your better investigation post.

He’s my adviser probably smart people I know when it comes to paranormal investigations. I will take my advice for somebody else, but what important is with Jacob is. Jacob knows a lot of rituals better old, what I mean old is they use there past the religions of today where going into a religions that were start of with stone hedge and back in India put the Golden done and things like that. Rituals and certain culture rituals which really strengthen and a lot of that and the reason why I’m getting in to it is religion is an important part of ghost hunting it doesn’t mean that you have to be religious it means that you’re gonna find a lot of ties of spirits and a religion okay? It’s not like you create a spells or some in a ghost what I’m saying is when somebody passes away that person might strongly go there religion strength because they don’t know what’s happen they don’t rely on it.

I’m Jason Solomon with always is my cameraman Jacob the ghost hunter and this mid last ghost hunting 101 equipment alright? Please safe in the field, be careful remember we’re trying to turn this into a science and get away from the black listed science okay? Happy hunting my name is James Solomon.
